Mónica és uma excelente profissional e uma pessoa fenomenal. Tiveste sensibilidade para perceber que eu não me sentia muito confortável quando era fotografada, e que me estava a sentir como um peixe fora de água e num instante tornaste a sessão natural, fluida e captaste todos os pormenores que eu pretendia. Conheci a Mónica num workshop e gostei logo da energia dela. Com ela fiz a minha primeira sessão fotográfica para impulsionar o meu projeto. A primeira de muitas. Todo o processo até à sessão foi uma viagem de muita descoberta, com muita dedicação e empatia tendo sempre um fio condutor presente. Foi uma viagem de muitas partilhas tb! 🩷 Apesar de não gostar de ser fotografada, e me ser desconfortável, a sessão em si foi super natural e fluída, onde houve espaço para acolher o que surgisse no momento. Com presença. Foi uma viagem onde pude ser eu: a minha alma, captada pela lente e sensibilidade da Mónica, a contar uma história, a minha história. We are so happy we found Monica as our photographer for our pregnancy shoot in Portugal, on the beautiful beach of Maceda. From the very first contact, everything went smoothly: she responded quickly, was clear and transparent about possibilities and pricing, and immediately gave us a very good feeling.
On the original day of our shoot, Portugal was unfortunately affected by wildfires in the north. Monica carefully monitored the situation and gave us the information we needed – something that was difficult for us as tourists to assess. In the end, she even rearranged her entire schedule to photograph us a day later, so that the conditions would be perfect. That alone shows how committed and professional she is.
During the shoot itself, Monica made us feel completely at ease. She had asked the right questions beforehand, even requested example photos and our outfit choices, and was therefore perfectly prepared. You can really see that in the results. We didn’t want the typical, overly sweet or cheesy photos, but rather something more spontaneous and artistic in nature – and wow, she truly nailed it!
We’ve had the photos for a few days now, and I catch myself looking at them almost every hour. They are simply magical. Monica understood us so well and captured this special moment in our lives exactly the way we dreamed of. We are incredibly grateful for that.
